Dogs of any size, breed, or weight are welcome on request at €25 per day (meals not included). They are not permitted in the dining area, and no additional rules—such as leash requirements in common areas—apply. Cats and other pets are not accepted.

Cavallino d’Oro occupies a 700-year-old building and is unfortunately not fully wheelchair accessible. Although an elevator reaches most guest floors (the sauna level is only accessible by stairs), several steps and narrow doorways mean the property offers no step-free routes and remains unsuitable for wheelchair users. Specially adapted rooms or bathrooms are not available.

Reservations may be cancelled without charge up to 21 days before arrival. Cancellations made 20–8 days prior are subject to a fee of 50 % of the total booking value, while cancellations within 7 days of arrival or no-shows incur a 100 % charge. If the booking is cancelled within the free-cancellation period, the deposit will be refunded or applied to a future stay, at the guest’s choice.

The rooms do not have air conditioning. Mobile fans are available on request.
